A Turkish protester almost hanged himself while giving a speech with a
noose around his neck. In footage of the incident, the bespectacled man
is seen reading aloud from a piece of cardboard he is holding. The rope
around his neck is tied to a tree in a town square.
It appears the relatively loosely tied knot is purely for show. But he
accidentally kicks away his stool and is left hanging precariously.
Concerned onlookers rush to help and manage to untie him....
