American and Australian professors kidnapped at gunpoint at American university in Kabul, Afghanistan (photo)

Two foreign university professors, one American and one Australian who are yet to be identified, were kidnapped at gunpoint on Sunday evening near the Kabul campus of the American University of Afghanistan according to Local media reports in Kabul, Afghanistan.

According to police officials who spoke to CNN, the two gunmen wearing Afghan security uniforms stopped a car that the professors were traveling in, broke the passenger side window with a gun and took the two men away with them but they didn't hurt the driver and bodyguard.
According to CNN, the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
This was the first reported abduction related to the private university, which has attracted numerous visiting instructors from the United States and other Western countries since it opened in 2004.
