Viewers have accused the BBC of indulging in too many slow-motion shots
of Wimbledon's women tennis players, including close-ups of their
underwear, during coverage of the tournament. The broadcaster has been
criticised over its use of long, lingering close ups during women's
matches, which some viewers have said feature too much of the athletes'
bottoms.
Viewers took to Twitter to express their concerns over the use of slow
motion and close-ups over the course of the tournament, which started
last Monday.
