An ambitious young Chinese undergraduate has recently invented a
creative apparatus to take shelter from second-hand smoking in his
dormitory in the southern Chinese city of Nannin. The young man, who
calls himself @Shandianzhililiang on Sina Weibo (Chinese social media
platform), posted photos of his new invention online, accompanied by a
chart to show its functioning principles.
The idea behind the device is simple: pumping outdoor fresh air into the
room, where all his roommates smoke, in order to decrease exposure to
second-hand smoke.
After the photos surfaced on Sina Weibo on Wednesday, they’ve been shared thousands of times within a day.
