Diego Simeone has taken a well deserved break in Ibiza with his model girlfriend ahead of Atletico's showdown with Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

The dramatic coach was pictured strolling towards the beach on the Spanish isle with his arm around fellow Argentinian Carla Pereira - who is 16 years his junior.

Simeone guided Atletico to a third-placed finish in La Liga - three points behind champions Barcelona - after a shock defeat by Levante in the penultimate game of the season.
