This is the lifeless body of the driver whose death has sparked
a serious protest between Sanya and
Ijesha along Apapa-Oshodi expressway. According to sketchy reports, the
driver was observing his prayer beside his truck when LASTMA and

After his prayer, they allegedly asked him the reason for delay as other
vehicles moved but he said it's due to his prayer. They argued as one
of the officials tried dragging him off his vehicle, he fell off, the
LASTMA vehicle climbed him, he died
LASTMA and policemen hurriedly left the venue before boys came.
His motor boy Haruna explained to community boys. The youths got angry,
blocked the road by burning tyres and demanding to see the governor of
Lagos Ambode. Even men of the RRS couldn't cool the temper of the angry
crowd...
